McCain to sign book Tuesday at local store PHOENIX - U.S. Sen. John McCain will be at Poisoned Pen Central on Tuesday to promoteand sign his book Character is Destiny.

Writing with Mark Salter, McCain's book is a collection of "inspiring stories every young person should know and every adult should remember."

From Mother Teresa to Pat Tillman, these are the stories of celebrated historical figures and lesser-known heroes whose values exemplify the best of the human spirit.

The signing takes place at noon at the bookstore, 215 E. Grant St.
