At Vista del Camino center in Scottsdale they will help you find a job. They also have faxes and computers to help you send resumes out and make resumes, and search for jobs on the internet!

Vista del Camino Center gives career assistance

SCOTTSDALE - Vista del Camino Center, 7700 E. Roosevelt St., offers free programs to help residents find work or enhance their job skills.

Career assistance is available 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday. Professionals help with a variety of career and job-search skills, including writing resumes or cover letters, conducting job searches and registering for unemployment insurance on the Internet.

A class on job searching is offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays, with individualized attention on resumes and online job searches.

A resume-writing workshop is offered from 10 a.m. to noon every other Thursday. Bring your employment history or your resume, plus a computer floppy disk.

Seating is limited. Though not required, participants may register and get more information at (480) 312-0062.
