W stands for Warrantless Wiretapping - Join the Protest

MoveOn.org and the valley group Code Pink are sponsoring a vigil this Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at the corner of 24th Street and Camelback road in Phoenix to protest the Bush administration's practice of illegal wiretapping. Warrantless wiretapping is an obvious and undeniable violation of the fourth amendment's protection against illegal search and seizure - no matter how many Bush appointees claim otherwise. What's more, warrantless wiretapping is a high crime fully warranting the impeachment of President Bush.

Unfortunately, it will take a huge outcry from the public to force a Republican Congress to do its duty and remove the President from office. Hence, this vigil and any future activities intended to influence Congress in that direction. I hope you will join the vigil on Wednesday.
