Next time I'll use my water bill . . .

Mar. 24, 2006 12:00 AM

I'm not too concerned about Secretary of State Jan Brewer's so-called strict enforcement of the voter ID law. This month I voted with two pieces of ID: my voter information booklet and my cable television bill.

Oh sure, the poll workers were a little nervous at first, but after they checked the rules, they realized that it was considered legal ID.

Face it: The law is stupid. If there was a problem of undocumented people voting in this state, we wouldn't have the Legislature passing ridiculous laws that mean nothing.

In November, I am taking my water bill and a voter ID pamphlet to the polls to vote the incumbents out.
