Mayor's block party questioned

Mar. 25, 2006 12:00 AM

Regarding the March 15 editorial "Voters embrace path to bright, bold future":

I voted "yes" for the Phoenix bonds and am happy Phoenix voters embraced the path to a "bold, bright future."

However, I ask Mayor Phil Gordon: Who paid for the block party you threw on election night? How much did it cost? Were all Phoenix citizens notified of and invited to the party?

I hope my hard-earned tax dollars and these bond dollars will not be frivolously spent on such events.
