St. Vincent de Paul set to serve breakfast
PHOENIX - The Society of St. Vincent de Paul on Monday will start serving breakfast daily to the homeless.
Approximately 500 homeless individuals will be served at its dining room at 1075 W. Jackson.
A group of senior employees from Qwest Communications has volunteered to serve the inaugural breakfast. Groups of five to ten volunteers are needed from 6:30 to 9 a.m. each morning to serve the meal.
Donations of breakfast items such as pastries, coffee, creamer, utensils and paper goods are also needed.
The inaugural breakfast runs from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room, 1075 W. Jackson.
